The Vinyls Hold Auditions

It's been a while since you've seen the Vinyls. They were supposed to perform at the Grandville Summer Festival but I got lazy.

The Vinyls did perform in Grandville park that one time:


Twilight Edward was the lead singer but his paleness has limited my body options and that makeup I put on him to darken him up will not hold up under the new camera, so he's out. Still, seedy, dangerous Grandville needs its band.

So they held auditions for a few Grandvillians who were interested. First up, Marie.

She and Zeke had great guitar chemistry.

They never knew Blake had such a good singing voice. He brought a real trip hop element to their ensemble.

His singing sounds like he's reciting a poem.

And then came Raj Nirvana, belting it out and just feelin' it, man.

The Vinyls felt really embarrassed for him.

"I really like Marie," Aragorn urges.
Bailey protests, "You just want to bone her."
"Well duh."

"Marie and I did have a good vibe," Zeke adds. "And having two chicks in the band would be cool. But I liked Blake a lot too. And we are less likely to try to have sex with him."

"Well, you might try, Bailey."
"Please. Have you seen my man? 'Why go out for hamburgers when you have steak at home?'"

Hmm, who will it be? I guess it's safe to say it will not be Raj Nirvana. He'll have to form his own cheese-ball band.

    I like Blake because he adds another dimension to the group. Plus, I like the way Bailey looks at him. :-)

    I vote for Blake too, but probably only because I like his hair the most.

    Blake is giving me that Living Colour "Cult of Personality" vibe which I loooove! Marie is a nice fit too and Raj is just nice to look at. Hmm...I'm gonna say....Blake. Although, Marie would still fit and sing back up and play base. That'd be one hot looking band. :-)

    My Edward is on Acheron body, color fits perfectly, so he is just a very pale guy, haha.
    It's sad that such a handsome vocalist as Edward will leave, even more pity that the new one won't be Raj Nirvana, I would vote just for him :P

      Thanks Jewel Snake, that's good to know. I saw a doll friend used maybe a Kyu body for Emmett but I guess I don't love poor Eddie enough.

Folks, lemme tell you, I am so tired of my little big project. The big stuff was easy (spray painting and such). That was over weeks and weeks ago. It's been the small stuff. And I'm still nowhere near done but I'll do the rest in Phase Two (Bailey and Remi's wedding). I miss my dolls so hard. I have two new beauties I haven't even taken shots of.
