Iris's Froggy Stuff.

You guys are familiar with My Froggy Stuff, right?  I only just discovered her! What great ideas! I'm a big fan of using things around your house and this was right up my alley. What a great way for me to bond with the girls and selfishly indulge my 1/6th passion at the same time!

 Iris cut that wallpaper herself. Very exciting for her.

I thought the front could use some pizzazz so I took some thin carboard that came with a Barbie folding screen and cut it into strips to resemble flower stems. Then I had Iris color some flowers. I cut a little curtain shape out of scrapbook paper and there you go!
 
  Isobel, however had other ideas on how to use this house. Next up, kid sized house and projects for me!

 But first, I gotta find something to wear to Danielle and Rod's wedding!

    Awww!! (^_^) My Froggy Stuff is awesome! I am working on the blog for my guests attending Rod and Danielle's wedding too. It was fun to dress everyone who is going. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

    Dressing dolls is a lot like dressing myself. I look at the pile and go "I have nothing to wear!!!" Maybe I should start with a hat and work my way down...

    I also love My Froggy Stuff. I happened upon her via etsy. I love Iris's new home. It's very nice and colorful. I think we all are going to the wedding. This is so much fun.

    MFS is great. I have tried a few of her ideas and amazed I never thought of it before :O) Your little ladies look very happy with their new house.

    MFS is a crafting genius. That's so wonderful that you and the girls can now craft together. Every time I see your little ones, I just fall in love. How can you stand all that cuteness every day? Hurry up and get those dolls dressed! The overflow room is starting to fill up now.

      Got them dressed and took some shots but I'm unhappy with them. I'll post tonight anyway so they can be sure to get a seat!

      Thanks! And the best part is that I can tweak the tutorials a little bit for my own collection. I'm already setting aside boxes for lockers in the school I play to make eventually. I'd love to use that display case tutorial to help build my mini-market.

I haven't been feeling particularly inspired with stories in Grandville, but their plastic lives are being led, with or without my story telling. And I have to practice my photography so instead I'm going to do a Cliff Notes if you will, of what has been going on in Grandville and who all these new characters are. First up, Ayumi. Grandville Summer Festival!

Hello doll friends, First up, I gotta show you this. My 4 year old was playing with my Barbie cast-offs and set up this little scene. (That yellow thing on the table is a TV shaped eraser.) Dig the lamp she made with a wedding cake and the pole from maybe a Barbie dress form? Adorbs. Anyway, this weather (raining pretty much daily for the last month or so) has wrecked my spray painting plans. Much of the royal storyline rests on this painting project. So for now I decided to continue the other stories I have going. Enjoy: "Ho-ly crap, what on earth are you wearing?" "Aw, Sook, I feel bad enough."   "Seriously. You are wearing khakis. New Goodies!

But first, some news: Projects: Still working on the studio space for Remi and Bailey. The Hubs came in and voiced what was in my head, "So where is that kid supposed to sleep? That's messed up. There's no room for him?"  The last thing I wanted in Grandville is a kid's room. I don't want this rated R world changing into something wholesome. Buuut, if there is to be a custody battle for Julian, I have to make the case, right? So on top of the studio space, I'll build a little room for the brat to use. Maybe I'll give it a fun theme or something. Space or sci-fi or something that doesn't involve sports. I'm also working on a space backdrop for Nymeria and her sister. Then I can finally introduce you. I decided to go with a sort of cheesy 60's sci fi movie thing. That's what inspired the Alurium Vaccarra anyway. So, a sort of intentionally cartoony backdrop.
