Boredom

Hmm, I dunno what's wrong with me but I'm bored of dolls. Maybe it's because I know that all spare money will be going towards Christmas. Maybe it's because I lost the little thingy that attaches my camera to my tripod. Maybe it's due to Thanksgiving preparation and sick babies, which provided no time for my little friends. Maybe it's because my photostories are waiting for Comic Life and for a Dragon Body for my new boy head.

Well at least my heart still skips a beat when I see my dolls in their homes, doing the same thing they did last week. And maybe I'll post some crap pictures just so I can take down the set and start the Xmas set.

Maybe I'll get my mojo back at the end of the year with my new dolls/equipment/software.

Maybe I just need a nice trip to Big Lots where I will say I'm going to get tree lights, but will come out with arms full of cheap doll stuff...

Hey do any of you collect 16 inch dolls? I have a cast iron pot belly stove that I'd love to unload. I bought it by mistake and for some reason I hate returning things...

    Sounds to me like you've got a lot of different things all pulling at your energy and your attention! I don't think you're bored with them (not if you can admit that your heart skips a beat when you see them set up in a diorama!!)

    Like I said before chickie--take it easy and don't push yourself. You'll get the "itch" to play with them again---but maybe you need a little breathing room first, eh?

Hello doll friends, First up, I gotta show you this. My 4 year old was playing with my Barbie cast-offs and set up this little scene. (That yellow thing on the table is a TV shaped eraser.) Dig the lamp she made with a wedding cake and the pole from maybe a Barbie dress form? Adorbs. Anyway, this weather (raining pretty much daily for the last month or so) has wrecked my spray painting plans. Much of the royal storyline rests on this painting project. I'm home today, the kids are at school (half day), so I decided to take some pictures with my little window of time. I rarely show the gypsies and one of you guys requested it, so here they are! Ever have a couple of days off Facebook and though you wonder what happened to your friends over the long weekend, you can help feeling a little peaceful? That's how I feel in my week of staying off the blogs and forums and various sites. But I missed a lot! So many cool posts! It's going to take a while to dig myself out. One must wonder, did my creative spurt have something to do with not being all over the web looking at what everyone else is doing? Anyway let's get to it. So on my birthday, my three Stardolls arrived! Aside from the outfit, that Paris one was not cute. I dunno, she's too boring looking. But Iris was THRILLED that she got a new, dressed doll.
