Last Day for Smidgehouse stuff

Hi guys!

This is the last day to order from Smidge House! The shop is closing for good at the end of the day. I'm pretty bummed that I made that promise to the Hubs that I wouldn't make any doll related purchases until he gets enough mula together for new equipment.

Anyway, she has loads of new stuff up there like side tables and corkboards. So go buy a piece of history before she's gone!! Visit the Smidge House etsy shop.

My airplane still isn't here so I'm already falling behind on my assignment. I think I'll spend the weekend making a little dollhouse for Iris because she keeps bringing her trashy undressed Barbies into my precious doll apartments and wrecking stuff.

    I have a Barbie airplane that I'm dreading to list. If I find a flea market maybe I'll haul it there to try & sell it. I would love to see how your plane design comes out. If I had more love for it I would see if Mr Man could hang it from the ceiling or something..LOL. That thing is seriously huge for now it stay in the big closet :O)

    I hear you! I have a barbie trailer that I was turning into a gypsy caravan but that thing is like 3 feet long. There's just no room, so that is in storage. I'm hoping to hang mine too, but while I'm working on it, I'm going to have to get creative...

Grandville Summer Festival!

Hello doll friends, First up, I gotta show you this. My 4 year old was playing with my Barbie cast-offs and set up this little scene. (That yellow thing on the table is a TV shaped eraser.) Dig the lamp she made with a wedding cake and the pole from maybe a Barbie dress form? Adorbs. Anyway, this weather (raining pretty much daily for the last month or so) has wrecked my spray painting plans. Much of the royal storyline rests on this painting project. Ever have a couple of days off Facebook and though you wonder what happened to your friends over the long weekend, you can help feeling a little peaceful? That's how I feel in my week of staying off the blogs and forums and various sites. But I missed a lot! So many cool posts! It's going to take a while to dig myself out. One must wonder, did my creative spurt have something to do with not being all over the web looking at what everyone else is doing? Anyway let's get to it.
